EXPO is hiring a Regional Organizer

EX-incarcerated People Organizing (EXPO), part of the WISDOM network, will hire a Regional Organizer for Southeastern Wisconsin.  This is a full-time position.  The Regional Organizer will be directly responsible to the EXPO State Director.

The Regional Organizer will be responsible for the development of EXPO in Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha, and possibly other communities in Southeast Wisconsin.  This includes:
    •    Doing one-on-ones and presentations to recruit new members;

    •    Building relationships with current members and allies of EXPO;

    •    Providing leadership training possibilities, recruiting members for training, and working with leaders to take on responsibilities within EXPO;

    •    Fundraising:  Both grassroots fundraising and grant-writing;

    •    Helping to provide leadership and coordination for the ROC Wisconsin Campaign for criminal justice reform;

    •    Building a strong culture of organizing within EXPO.


The Regional Organizer will work as part of a team with other EXPO organizers, with JustLeadershipUSA organizers, and with WISDOM organizers.  He/she will be part of the statewide WISDOM Organizers Table.
